8' jig for edge jointing with a router. Great for beginner or small shops without a jointer. Heavy steel base and clamping bar holds material securely, run router on melamine using steel bar as fence.
I never found it was needed, but instruction are for glueups to mirror the edges on opposite sides of the bar to offset any tiny deviation in the bar.
I used this for years before I had a jointer, and even with a jointer when material is long or difficult to handle. I've also found it helpful for working edges in Corian.
Comes with Carbide bit and original instruction sheet.
8' long and HEAVY - needs to be picked up in Chapel Hill in pickup or trailer.
