Joinery for visable back of small chest .

Thank you all who gave me suggestions on how to construct the back of a chest that would be visable in a mirror. I went with the beveled floating panel. It came out really nice, photo @ Mike W.

I have to second the motion for a beautiful curve on the fronts. Man, that's nice looking!

Mike, I covered the front edge with almost vaneer thin strips of stock. I was going to leave the joints exposed but they didn't cut as sharp as I would of liked. All in all I'm quite pleases. Thanx, Mike

The drawer lock joints look great. Are the drawer fronts concave, or is that a photo artifact!

Joe, Yes I bandsawed the drawer and partition to a pleasing curve. I did this once before with a 5 drawer chst and I was rather impressed with the look. Sometimes I amaze myself ! Thanx for looking, glad you like it, M.
