My Woodshop was broken into not long ago, they only stole my 6 can stash of JPW and all my clamps except the HF ones. Police are currently looking for a novice woodworker 50+ yrs old dressed in cargo pants or shorts, a pocket tee wearing at least 1 band-aid.

I found and opened my three cans this morning. One is mostly used up, one is mostly full, and the one I bought at a yard sale was possibly used to polish cars. It has big scoops missing like you might do for a big buffing machine. I think I will have to keep what I have.

I've used T9 for years. Last bought at a bicycle shop, they use it for chain lube. Amazon has it also. Invented by Boeing to protect wiring in aircraft.

You'll find some reviews that say it's hard to get it fully wiped off after it dries. That's been my experience as well. For machines I don't mind that at all.

Look at Mold wax. It is available on Amazon. You want a non-silicone wax

I've heard the Carbon Method works great but is a bit pricey. I still use my JPW, although sparingly now to make it last. Figured once I run out, will look into the Carbon Method stuff. I also use Boeshield T9 as a lubricant every once and awhile to keep the tops as slick as possible.

Has anyone tried the liquid ceramic coat products out there for car finishes?

I've tried it but not on any tools. I used it on an outdoor bench I built a few months ago to give it better protection against the elements. So far, as a coating it works extremely well, however, when you apply it, you need A LOT of ventilation and a respirator because if not, and you breathe it in, it can harden in your lungs and cause serious issues.

My son has used Chemical Guys “Hydro Charge + Ceramic Spray Coating” on his truck. He expects it to last a year and it’s very slick, extremely easy to apply, and won’t shed onto wood. May be worth a try.
