I got this saw off of Craig's when someone was leaving the island, so it was a good deal, But, the blade guard has always had side p[lay to the point that I would have to hold it and tighten it down to get it centered. Totally lame design, no adjustment I could find to remove the side play. So I finally gave up trying to work with what the saw had and I added a stop to make the blade guard tight without side movement. Pretty easy fix actually. Just took a piece of steel, drilled and tapped it, added a Delrin bushing on the end and made a rectangle slot to allow the bracket to be adjustable.
