I picked up the same model for about $150 around 18 months ago. The unit works great!

Talked to JDS about converting to a remote, and it would cost me about $90 for the circuit board and remote control. I decided to continue to use the longer pull chain!:embaresse

I think that at @250, the price is a little too high. IMHO!
