We will meet at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 13th at the Folk Art Center at mile marker 382 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in East Asheville. As before, we will meet in the Director's Conference Room on the Main Floor (enter through the Gift Shop). We will post signs inside the Center on how to find the room.
We have a special program this month. Lee Holt, a chairmaker and wood turner from nearby Swannanoa is going to give us a presentation on his woodworking skills. Lee is a member of the Carolina Mountain Woodturners (and recipient of their President's Award) and is a very accomplished Windsor Chairmaker. As usual, we will also have our member's Show 'N Tell session, so bring that special Holiday gift or your latest project to show off. Refreshments will be served as well.
