I've been dumpster diving.

Not really. But I've got a bunch of pretty heavy stuff that was going to get thrown out because no one wanted it. Problem is, a lot of this stuff is over my head. I'm hoping someone here has some experience with large machines and can help me identify some of this stuff. Or maybe y'all might just get a kick out of this stuff.

I think these are shaper heads, but they're huge. Anyone know anything about these? The blue ones have some papers will them that call them finger joint cutters. They were last sharpened in 1973.

Here's a few more.

Are these augers for a hollow chisel machine? There were a bunch of hollow chisels in similar boxes from the same company. Forest City Tools in Hickory.

Or these threaded brad point drills?

There was also this very serious grooving blade. Anyone know what kind of machine this is for?

Pretty cool, a couple of those I could actually use.

If you want something, you can have it. You'll definitely have to pay shipping though! Haha

I thought some of this was worth keeping or selling, but it doesn't look like it's really worth the time when I've got so much else to work on.

Most shaper cutters are huge compared to router bits. These cutters are mainly for use in moulders, like a Weinig. But, if the inside diameters at the same, 1-1/4" , you can run them on shapers. Whats the outside diameter of the large sawblade looking one? that may be from a tenoner.

Ive got a raised panel cutter thats 8.5" dia. It raises 2.5" wide. Its like a helicopter whe I turn it on
Very sketchy.

I think I've posted this knife room before, but I spent almost all of Monday boxing up these knives. Trying to get it cleaned out because I'm going to demolish the room.

Anyway, I found out that these all run as single cutters with a balanced, because they're hand ground. Must be a gnarly sound with a single 10" wide cutter. Womp, womp, womp.
