I got off the phone with Sarah Garner, Michael's wife, a few minutes ago to learn it is official. Michael is down range. Perhaps not at his final destination yet, but certainly within a few days. Having spoken with him about his station a few weeks ago, this much I can verify. It is hot, both in terms of temperature, and euphemistically. Heck of a place for a computer/radio/systems repair guy to be, huh? If you pray, pray for Michael, his wife Sarah, and his two boys (ages 6 & almost 12?) (whose names don't come to me right now, perhaps my son can help me with that later). Having spoken with Michael recently, he expressed an interest in simply being able to spend the summer with his boys. He has spent at least two of the last three 'away' IIRC. Michael is a professional soldier, he knows the job must get done, but in my experience, none of us enjoyed the time away.

He definitely has been and is in my prayers!!! His family also needs our thoughts and prayers. Where would we all be without peoeple like Michael!

Thanks for updating everyone Pete, I am in transit to my final destination. I cant tell anyone so sorry on that part. If anyone wants my address Pete will have it in about a week. Once we are settled in I will hopefully be able to send some pictures and try to give you all some trouble on this site, (hehehehe) be blessed everyone, I miss you all.
