I finished making a sliding table for my saw, as the OEM one has problems.
The base is solid and strong, 2 tracks I put 4 jack screws on it where it sets on the rails
So I could get it perfectly level with the top of the saw actually I set it .01 mm higher then the top so that flat boards will not drag.
Aligned it with the blade and bolted it down.
It slides on UHMW runners I didn’t have much room and had to cut a 3mm dado on each side of the bottom where the runners attach.

Slides good no more rocking racking or wobble, I am happy with it.:eusa_danc

Earl, looks as if you have the BT3100 there...I know about the original slider with that saw...it does have it's problems, sometimes it seems.
Some of those problems are the very reason I took mine off the saw
and sold it! You did a good job on the replacement...hope it works good for you. I have completely re-done my saw, and I like it a lot better
the way it is now than in the original factory configuration. eezlock
