Bought this as part of a lot of hand tools ( A couple of years ago).

As a newbie to hand tools, I dont remember what the person said it was.:confused:


So, need your help Id'ing.

Thanks for the super fast responses! You guys also answered my next question, whether it was complete.

Seems like it was missing something ( the circular top part of tool).

Any one have a pic, or can point me to a pic of a complete tool ?

I've never seen one exactly like that. In the day there were hundreds of designs. I have at least a dozen and none have that circular extension. Most likely some type of anvil that could be turned to allow different offset angles for the teeth was inserted there..

No manuf markings either, so I guess trying to find part is futile. Have a toyboat anchor :rotflm:

I buy good saw sets (different brands and sizes) all the time for $10-$15 the only one I haven't found for a low price is the Stanley 42X.
