Been through many a dusk mask. Many 3M, many generic, some fancy "washable" etc. From WEB reviews, I picked up an Eclipse. Better. Way better fit and function. Now, from another recommendation( Stumpy) I got a Trend Stealth. Even better still! More comfortable and seals better. Even with my beard. It even fits under my welding helmet, which has been a big problem.

I bought an RZ mask. Its very comfortable but the elastic straps are already starting to deteriorate. Seems like it leak a lot of air around my nose.

I'd just as soon use a 3M and toss 'em when they get dirty or the straps go bad.

The Eclipse looks like a serious respirator and the Trend mask looks like it would be uncomfortable.

As you note, ww'ing is different then welding and painting.

Painting, I use 3M carbon/organic cartridge filters.
Foe woodworking, The trend is far more comfortable for me than the Eclipse. It is for dust, as in the eclipse. Welding requires dust. The problem is space inside a helmet. Everyone's face is different and sealing with a beard is another issue.
