Intro - Derek

Hi all. I've been out of the loop for a few months but I do check in occassionally to see what everyone's up to. Picnic? FOOD? I'm there. I selected the first Saturday in May but really, April-May, I'm flexible. I've been working on a wood project for my wife since January early. She asked me to build a bookcase for her college books and I've been taking digital photos of the project to submit online to this website for the groups kind and tenderhearted inspection and (critique?). She'll be graduating as a certified Medical Assistant on May-whoops-12th-that day I can definitely NOT miss, so if the picnic falls on that day, I'll have to read about what a great time you all had. Steve or Dave, if you read this post, can you guide me through submitting my photos to NCWW? Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible face to face.

Derek, we would love to have you come to the gathering when we figure out the date and place, I look forward to meeting you. As far as posting pictures, look in the FAQs section there is a great tutorial by Insomniac on the subject. If you still have questions shoot me a PM.

First, glad to have you on the site and I join others in looking forward to your pictures of that project for LOYL in tribute to her major accomplishment! You'll need a Photo Gallery for your pics -- go to Other Links on the main menu bar and click on Request Photo Gallery. One will be set up for you by one of the website staff. Then, click on Forums and select the Photo Gallery FAQs and read how to do your uploads. If you need help, just ask! :grin:
