I'm back

Well.. moving day came.. and went. All my stuff showed up on time, and only 1 piece of pottery showed any damage. I have my internet connection back up. I need to do some fixing in the workshop, err.. garage. It became the landing spot for "unlabeled" boxes. Plus I'm gonna need to get someone to do some wiring. But, far as moderation goes, I'm back. No more dialup... that sucked.

I'd ask more about the experience but I've moved enought times to know it stinks. Good luck getting everything up and going, you can always unpack later but tools are a priority. Here's a tip from a veteran mover: anything not unpacked in 6 months is an automatic garage sale item unless it's Christmas ornaments (or a tool).

Glad you're settled back in. Moving does suck, but it does provide an opportunity to get rid of all the excess crap that has accumulated over time. Steve has an excellent point, if you don't find the need to unpack something in the near future, you can probably do without it. Glad to have you back on-line and up to speed.

I've moved a few times myself. Although DH would find this difficult to believe, even I can get rid of a lot of stuff when moving (we haven't moved). I am sure it's quite a relief to be getting back to normal, and especially getting better internet access! Glad to have you back.
