Well, I am back from not so sunny CA. I've been gone so long becuase I travel by train both ways. And being stranded for 8 hours becuase of an avalanche didn't help because I missed every connection on the way back.

Anyway, the real reason for this post, is that I need help catching up. I am very behind on the site. I'm sure there are things that may need doing and people who tried to contact me for help or other things. If you know of something I should be doing and haven't yet, please let me know. (Klingspor issues I am already working on). If there are personal items, please remind me via PM.

Thanks

Steve: Welcome home! I'd just like to hear about that train trip. I've always thought it'd be relaxing to travel cross country by train. I've done it many, many times by air, but you can't see much from 40K.

Good to know you made it home safely, if a little late. :eusa_danc

Steve,

I'm with Jeff...

Consider another vacation. In the short time I have been on this net I have become convinced that your work is both what got it up and running as well as why it continues to be such a great site.

Enjoy the break (but welcome back anyway).

Steve - welcome back!

Don't take this the wrong way, but I didn't even notice you were gone....apart from the lack of postings of course. You've picked a bunch of good people to help manage the site. As always, your dedication to NCWW is admirable.

I'm with Jeff as well. Maybe spend some time reading the posts from the last few weeks, and enjoying the site as a mere user for a change :)

Welcome back, Papa Smurf! We all hope you had a great time with family out on the left coast and that you're happy to find we haven't wrecked the site while you were gone! Fortunately, there have been very few issues that the staff has had to face -- this site runs very solidly and has great members! We're pleased that you're back even though you faced some challenges en route. Hopefully, I can drop by to see you when I next visit Apex the weekend of the 19th.

Steve, welcome back. I was at Woodcraft today and noticed that they had excess inventory and excess coffee. You've been missed there as well as on the site :lol::lol:

Welcome Home! Things have been relatively quiet here...just a bunch of humble people gloating about Christmas gifts :)

Cheers,
Chris
