I will stick with my sheet of 1/2" tempered glass and do it the old fashioned way for now. $199 is a little too pricey for me. 8-O

That was my thought as well. It's pretty cool, but at that price, an "imitation" Hormek isn't much more $$$.

You think that is bad, check out the blender looking JoolTool that just comes with little abrasive disks and no tool rests. It is being hawked at the WW shows for about $300 (online $350 for the "complete" (???) kit!!!!!!) It looks like a lopsided blender!! If you price blenders on Amazon, few cost more than $50 :-D:-D:-D:-D

The one benefit of both the ToolSharp and the JoolTool is that you can monitor your progress when using the slotted wheel- the slots allow you to see the tool, which is held face up, through the disk.
