When I create an album, I always reference the links to the photo gallery faq, and then give the link to Insominac's uploading faq in the PM I send the requestor... here is an example of the recent response I sent...

I have added your photo album to the gallery. Feel free to upload your images as you wish. If you need help, Insominac has written a wonderful FAQ on image uploading and editing. You can find that FAQ here.
