I need to sand a 36" L x 27" W x 2" T edge grain butcher block top. (Yes, I finally got the sections glued together.) The top is made out of white oak I bought from Rick DiNardo at The Woodworking Source.

I am 30 minutes from Wilkesboro, Statesville, Mocksville, and Winston-Salem; an hour to Greensboro, High Point, Hickory, and Charlotte. I can arrange to do this most anytime on the weekend, or after 4pm Monday-Friday.

If you are looking for a large wide-belt unit I can't help you.

If you can use a hand-held 3x21 Rockwell belt sander, you are welcome to borrow it. You would need to get the appropriate belts.

Let me know. I'm near Peacehaven and 421.

Thanks for the offers, Mark and Kyle.

I have to take my truck to the dealer in Statesville to get my free oil change Saturday, so I will mosey on down to Mooresville and take Rick up on his offer.

Rick, while I am down there, do you have about 40 BF of 4/4 white oak I can take off your hands?
