I need help with this one!

OK, here's what happened. Tonight I made an album for peteb301. He was able to get into it and upload a bunch of pics. I know he was successful because his pics show up on the "what's new" page. He sent me a PM saying that when he went back to find his album, he couldn't find it again. I asked him to come to chat to help troubleshoot. Here's the transcript:

[peteb301] 11:50 pm: well , i asked for an album , got it per your note , then followed destructions to upload mu photos. Unfortuneately I uploaded
too many photos as I wanted to have a folder for workbech and another for Bureau.

[peteb301] 11:54 pm: Yes i went to the admin portion and attemted to add a folder, it looked like i did. Hers where it got confusing as the 1st time
through I was able to see a foder for peteb301 and bureau. went back a 2nd time , due to confusion on my part in nit fullt reading your instruction all
the way and that when I could not find peteb301 .

According to AdminCP, there is no record of his album at all. So... any idea what he did? Is it possible for a user to delete their own category like that? I don't want to make a new album of the same name until I know it won't cause problems.

I'm looking at this now. Please no one doing anything with this until I figure out what's going on. His pictures are on the server. there is no album. That's all I'm sure of so far

First of all, it is fixed.:eusa_danc But for the life of me, I can't figure out how it happened. The first thing I found is that the pictures were on the server and had been fully processed. Then I went into to the database and found out the pictures were listed properly. I then looked in the DB for his category(album) and found it and a sub category that he created, again everything looked fine. I then discovered that his category showed as its parent. Bingo! So I manually changed the parent to Members' Albums and then his category showed up in admincp. Yeah! But when I went back to the main page of the Photo Gallery. It still wasn't showing up.:crybaby2:

One of his pictures was and had been showing on the recent photos at the bottom of the page. When I clicked on the thumbnail, I got message that I didn't have permission to see the photo. So I examined the permissions and I couldn't see anything wrong. I then went to the category permissions listing in admincp->Gallery->Category Permissions and click on reset for his category. Voilà! All is well.

Now how did this happened? Don't have the slightest idea:roll: My first thought was this was done purposely by the code when deleting a category, so some future undelete function could be implemented. But I checked the code, and DOES delete the photos and the category. So I am stumped:BangHead:
