It took a long time. I had problems, put it aside and tried again and again. I learned this lesson; it ain't square until the square you are using is square! It is done, it works, and of course I had to add my own special thing. :)

Nice Berta (Square is a relative thing... don't sweat it!)

Way to go Berta. You seem to be moving into bigger and bigger projects. If you ever need a bigger shop for one, you know where I am.

Nice work Berta!

Probably a lot sturdier than what you can buy at the BORG.:icon_thum

Good stuff Berta! Nothing quite like something you made yourself. When your square isn't, it leads to a myriad of issues. Glad you figured out what the source of the problem was!

that would depend on the relative.:rotflm: nice looking door berta.:icon_thum

Someone asked me to cut them a piece of plywood for a "Jump-hole" (attic access)

I said is the hole square?
Answer: yes, I think so

Reality - not square...

Second piece of plywood was a trapazoid! (on purpose for once)
after going over to the house, not fitting in the nice square piece of plywood, going to Lowe's and buying another sheet, bringing it home, cutting it to size, putting it in the car, carrying it over and installing it.

Then someone said "Nice, that didn't take too long...

Since then, I always say "Square is a relative thing" - and if you knew my relatives, you would agree!:rotflm:

Nicely done, Berta.

A few bumps along the way made it interesting. :icon_scra Truly "custom made".
