... into my new shop. Reference earlier thread. >> http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/f81/dream-shop-reality-update-12-07-08-a-17456/
We began construction 9/29/08 and LOML and I moved my tools in about a two weeks ago and began hooking up the dust collecting system to them. I've never had such good dust collection. Lots of suction. :eusa_danc
I still have to make some storage cabinets and doors for the sink base and wall cabinet over the sink and build the air cleaner I plan to build from an old squirrel cage blower.
It sure seems good to be able to move around without stepping over things and moving tools to use another one. And I can swing a piece of wood over my head without the danger of knocking out my lights. :icon_cheers
Going around the shop looking in from the entry door:

This room has a large garage door so I can back my truck into the building to unload wood if needed. It will be used for some assembly and storage of my farm tractor, lawn mower, bicycle, etc.
The red oak I used to make the door and window casing/trim came from Ivey's Sawmill. Thanks to Alan in Little Washington for the assistance with the layout of the dust collection piping and ideas on the vertical wood storage. And to my wife for the assistance in getting all my tools, wood, etc. moved into the building and helping with the connections with the dust collection.
