Honey spoons(dippers)

I hate to ask a stupid question but my wife says I am good at it so here goes. I have been ask to make some honey spoons but dont know what to make them out of?:embaresse:BangHead: So if you could advise I would be greatfull:eusa_danc

Any closed pore, tight grained wood would work perfectly. Maple is probably the most common choice.

Maple and sycamore are the best woods for any kind of spoon because they will not impart any flavor to the food product.

Yah...take Mike's advice. He knows what he's talking about. Jeff...I wouldn't trust him, so go with what Mike said instead. :)
