Hey everyone - I'm Jeff Schoolcraft. I moved to Wilmington from Northern Virginia (Woodbridge) just about 2 weeks ago. I've done some flat wood working, spent the better part of a decade building scenery for my daughter's dance company, and recently moved into wood turning. I turned a bunch of pens and bottle stoppers, a few bowls and plates and sold some of that in a co-op gallery in Occoquan, VA. I've joined the local turning club, WAWA, and am hoping to be active here.
My big project though is to build a shop, that'll probably be my first bit of research and posting. I have enough space--and hopefully--funds to build a detached 3-car garage sized shop with a mini-split. I'm hoping I can get it done this year because I downsized from a barely walkable 2 car garage to a 0 car garage, and most of my tools are sitting in a badger box on my drive way (16' storage container).
