Just a note to say I bought one of these at the weekend for work, for putting together crates at exhibitions etc - On sale $27! boy whata tool! may not look too pretty, but it packs a punch! variable speed 0-2400 and the neatest battery charger I have seen in a long time - so far, and only time will tell, I would recomend this tool. Plus, an extended 2 year warranty was $5.99!!!!

Can it be used for screws, David? I notice it has a square drive.
Thanks

Yes, I have a 1/2" drive adaptor to convert to phillips screw drive and as it is continuously variable speed it makes control easy. It has no clutch on it so probably wouldn't use it to repalce a "normal" drill/screwdriver, but for those heavier jobs it's the dogs'. (that's a good thing!)
