We have been doing a remodeling project the past few weeks which has given me the opportunity to share my woodworking interest with some of the contractors and their sons. In the past two weeks I have had the privilege of showing three new turners how to make pens, two teenage brothers and a man in his forties. There are at least three others who also plan to take a pen turning lesson.

The twelve year old below is proudly displaying his newly turned Red Cedar Slimline pencil, he also turned a Maple Slimline pen. The look on his face after completing the pen, which he made first, was priceless. :icon_cheers

Great job Denny. The nice thing about teaching is you always learn something yourself when you do it.
