Does anyone around Cary, Apex area have an arbor press that I could use to change my arbor bearings on my Unisaw? Or if you have another way, I'm all ears
Thanks

Wish you were closer than 3-1/2 hours one way.

there are some work-arounds for replacing Unisaw bearings, but none of them are easy.

Maybe you can have a plan B. Take the arbor to a shop that does that kind of thing like an electric motor repair shop or even a shop that works on small engines. Coming in with arbor and bearings in hand will go a long way to getting things done quickly.

Basically the big deal is the bearing next to the blade flange. The outside bearing stays in the bracket and the arbor is pushed through it. That bearing needs to be removed with a bearing splitter, sort of like this. (the bearing splitter is that two halved thing under the bearing).
