I'm working on a 36"x48" or so butcher block top for an island made out of a chunk of old bowling alley (yeah, I know, crazy :eusa_doh:). Does anyone have access to a wide belt sander I could run this thing through?

I'm sick of going at it with hand held tools, so I'd appreciate any help.

The last (and only) time I needed a wide belt sander, I went to a local cabinet shop that had one and paid to have it run through. Local, help loading and unloading and done quickly, all pluses.

Adam there is a good size cabinet shop over close to GMH. It's on Plastics Dr. just off New Hope. You might can get it done there if you can't get anyone here. If you want send me a PM and let me know. I'll tell you how to get to it. Goodluck!
