Hello From Pittsboro

Hi Everyone. My name is Dick and I've been doing woodworking for well over 50 years - tells you a little something about my age. Over the years I've done a little of everything from cutting boards to Sam Maloof style rocking chairs to complete bedroom sets. Even built my own shop in the Montana mountains several years back. Now I'm pretty much settled into my basement shop in Pittsboro.

On another note, Ive gotten into collecting and refurbishing Stanley/Bailey metal bench planes.

As hard as the dirt is on my patch heaven it must have
"taken 3 Bucket replacements & 55gal of hydraulic fluid to dig a basement" ( a nod to an old George Carlin bit ).
Welcome to a Kind place full of wisdom & enthusiasm (both of which I only aspire to).
