Hello from Cary

Hi everyone. My name is Scott and I just joined today. I chatted with Cathy Skipper on a scroll saw site and she recently told me about this site. Since I enjoy all kinds of woodworking I felt I had to meet up with others in my state with the same interests. I am a member of the TWA (Triangle Woodworkers) based in Raleigh. All though most of my wood working is done in my garage in Cary (yes, I am a relocated yankee) I do have a trailer and work shed in Warren County.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all......

Doug, I sent msot of my northern life in Poughkeepsie, NY. I did live 2 years in up upstate NY in a town call Plattsburg.

I must admit you had me a bit perplexed. TWA has several "Scotts" in it's membership. You must be the "Duncan Hill Scott"? I too was born and raised in Upstate NY, and now live in Cary. I came from the Southern Tier area. Welcome to the group, and remember as they will not hold the fact we hail from NY aginst us, it is only right we not hold the fact they were born and raised in the South against them! :lol:

Yes Rick I am the "Duncan Hill Scott". See you at the meeting this week? Have no fear about me picking on our southern friends. Some of my best friends were born here. I consider myself a southerner by choice. :eusa_danc
