Hello my name is Dave and I actually live in Tennessee. I live in a small mountain town right on the North Carolina border and I am always looking to learn and meet fellow woodworkers. I'm in my late thirties and guys my age around here aren't really into woodworking for some reason so I figured I would try to branch out. I started framing new construction in highschool but didn't officially start "woodworking" until I built my tiny house and shop about 7 years ago. My goal is to one day be able to make custom fine furniture though now I build the normal small things (cutting boards, coasters, serving trays, keepsake boxes etc.). I work in cybersecurity and I love woodworking because it's such a physical tactile thing. The complete opposite of working in cyberspace. I hope to learn as much as possible from everyone and contribute in any way possible. Thanks for accepting me as a forum member!
