I thought I would share this information (ie rumor) with the group so you can keep your eyes open, should it come to fruition. One of the TWA members sent this to me:
"Tom Ferone at Woodcraft Store has asked me to teach a "Rough to Ready"
workshop March 4 (9-3 pm)...this workshop in the sense that we will be taking a piece of rough stock and turning it into a finished board using planes only. The cost of this workshop is $85, enrollment is limited to 4 or so."
Tom - perhaps you could confirm/deny this, and perhaps might be able to provide some more details?
Either way, TWA's May program will cover the subject of handplanes with an accompanying two day workshop for a limited number of club members on a first come-first served basis.
