Hi Floyd, welcome to the site. I hide a little bit, but show my real name, too. I'm just south of you in Hendersonville and am enjoying woodworking in my retirement. We have several members from the area and hope to start a club group (go to Other Links and select User Control Panel. Then select Group Memberships and sign up for the Western NC Woodworking Club Interest Group if you are interested) that can meet and share ideas. If you've got pictures of projects or your shop you want to share, request a Photo Gallery under Other Links and one will be set up for you. Read the Photo Gallery FAQs under the Forums link to learn how to upload pics.

You'll find the site full of good people willing to share ideas and methods, and some even give classes. We're happy to have you on board and look forward to more posts from you.

I am sure that we all would appreciate you sharing some of your experiences in repair and remodeling!:eusa_clap As a recent retiree, the LOML is consistently finding me home improvement jobs around here and sometimes I just need a little advice. (I must say that I enjoy her "chores" as long as she lets me pull out my tools - even more if it is an excuse to buy a new tool to add to the arsenal!:lol: )
