HCC Scholarships Award (Thank You Letters Added)

We have received notice that 2 scholarships have been awarded to students at HCC.
They are Brian Hook and Wessley Thompson.

Good to see the scholarships awarded. I will do my usual follow-up with the students.

I'm curious. In the past three scholarships were awarded each year. Was the change to two scholarships a HCC decision or did NCWW not have the funding--$1500/scholarship--for three?

It was discussed that the college did not have a student to award the third scholarship this semester. There for it will be awarded in the following semester.

Thanks for the info. Our scholarship program is one of our best community outreach programs. I make a contribution every year, and I urge everyone to support the fund. Lately I have noticed several For Sale Listings where sellers have specified the monies will be donated to the scholarship fund. What a great idea.

Yes, and we are very grateful for the positive support for this program. My hope is this will continue to grow.
