Can someone do a newbie (me) a favor and identify what the different grades of lumber mean (S2, SI as well as different types of quality (choice, select, etc)? The previous post lists KD lumber for sale. I assume that means "Kiln Dried" but I'm not sure. Also, I'm not sure what would be considered "furniture grade" lumber. I think this would be helpful (to me, at least) when looking at lumber for sale. Maybe this can be posted as a "sticky" in this forum? Thanks.

Thanks, George. That site is pretty informative and useful. BTW, I'm sorry about your choice of school, I guess not everyone can attend Auburn (did I mention where I went to school?) :) :)

At least at FL we know who we are and don't have to try and figure if we are a war-eagle or a tiger. :D
