I ordered a couple of these blades from Mike Jackson, over at Leitz. They are the very best blades I have ever used to cut birch plywood. Absolutely no tear out and very quiet running. Only paid $25 each, plus freight. Bought a total of five blades, including the HO Shumacer & Sohn blades, and they were $93 delivered to my door. Go over to Woodnet.net and do a search for excesstooling as the poster and it will lead you to Mike.

I bought a couple of blades from Mike as well. Didn't really need them, just eh sorta wanted them....I'm going to go broke on all these bargains :)

The HO Shumacher blade does a really nice job on plywood. I thought the quietness was sort of a gimmick, but it's quite noticeable. Although, between the DC, saw motor and ear plugs, it's not THAT important. But if you worked in a big cabinet shop, it'd be a bonus. My blade did have some rust marks on the teeth (the blade body, not the carbide), just cosmetic though. That's why the blade is $25 and not $90.

Also got a 60T Delta blade, for $10. Definitely a bargain, lots of sharp teeth here, and a very nice cut. Definitely worth $40.

Ordering was painless - e-mail what you want, pay via PayPal, and the big brown truck drops it off three days later.

In addition to Pay pal, you can use Visa / MC, or send him a check. Three days later, blades are here. My blades didn't show any rust markings. When I talked to Mike, he said he had just opened another box of the HO Shumacher blades though. Mine may have come from a different lot / shipment. I bought a couple of the Delta 60 toothers also. I can't have a 60 tooth blade sharpened for ten bucks!
