Ash frame, white oak shelves (oak from Rick DiNardo). Just need some Titebond for the loose tendon joinery. The I will put 2" wheels under the legs.

Re: Grilling Season Cart

Thanks, Reggie. I am getting the handle of uploading pics and rotating them to display at the correct angle. I am out of Waterlox, so I do not kjnow what finish I will use.

Re: Grilling Season Cart

Nicely done Tom.

Will this grill cart be stored under a covered porch/deck for some exterior protection from the elements? What kinds of equipment/gadgets go on a "grill" cart? Just curious.

I really like Waterlox Original Sealer/Finish but have never tried to use it on an exterior project, but there's also a Waterlox Marine for exterior use.

Another excellent product is Epifanes Marine Spar varnish (not the BORG junk).

I will store the cart with my grill in the basement. I will store my grill tools (tongs, spatula, burgfer-flipper, etc), cooking thermometer, and boom box on the cart.

I used Waterlox on a revamped gas grill cart, sans the grill. It has been stored on a loading dock at work for over 2 years, and the finish still looks fresh.
