4 coats of lacquer, rubbed out, done.
Ready to ship in a few days. Got to let the smell die down a bit.

This box was done a few years ago and the finish was terrible so I sanded it down while waiting for glue to dry on the urn and layed down a coat of waterlox. Needs a few more coats but much better than before.

Sorry for your loss, its a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. As a woodworker I think creating an urn for someone is a wonderful tribute that your can do for a person.
