Ah yes retirement!!!!

You will quickly wonder where you ever found the time to work!

All the very, very best and enjoy. Having all of that free time to devote to your family is fantastic!:) :) :)

Have Fun!

Your fellow recent retiree..........

Glad you're joining the retired ranks -- to quote Sapwood, "I ain't never had so much fun!" I've been retired 3 years and it is great, though you've got to watch your cash flow. After hearing about some energy bills in the middle of the State, I'm glad we're here in the mountains to help us save money (we average < $150/month).

Congatulations! My wife noted that, as of today, I have been retired for 11 months. Seems like just a two week vacation to me. Retirement is great, especially if you have a shop in which you can tinker (and stay out of the significant others way). Have fun!

Congrats from another retiree. 3+ years but feel like a few months. Still haven't finished my "To Do List". It keeps getting longer. Enjoy.

The first thing you need to do after you officially retire is plant two acorns about 10 feet apart and then go buy a nice hammock. A man needs something to look forward to.......

Congratulations!:icon_thum

Congratulations, I'd like to request a ruling here because I'm pretty sure that a retirement gloat easily exceeds a tool gloat.

:eek:ccasion1 Cheers Woodbutcher!

You'll love it. But as Canuk suggested, "you'll wonder how you ever had time to work." I'm further behind now than when working full time :eusa_doh:
