Well, I have quite a few mortises to do for my current project and the thought of drilling all of those holes with my drill seemed pretty excruciating, so I decided to get a drill press. I got the cheapo Ryobi 10" one because that's all I can afford right now.
I have been using the Gillette Mach 2 for many years now and was happy with that. So I'm in the grocery store the other night looking for refills and I think they had either run out or phased them out. So standing there looking at my options, it was either go down to the "hotel raisers" that have one blade, or upgrade to the "Fusion", which has 5 blades. Yes, 5 Blades. :dontknow: I've always wondered what the deal was with the number of blades on raisers these days. Two blades is good enough for me. But I've noticed a trend in the last ten years of so that the number of blades has increased from 2 to 5. At that rate, in the year 2018, we will be shaving with raisers that have 8 blades? In 2028, 11 blades? In 2058, 20 blades? What gives? :icon_scra Anyway, I actually felt like I was buying a tool or something when I bought this thing. So I figured I might include it in this gloat.
