Germanic Goose-Wing hewing ax or hatchet

Okay, I’m in search of two things:

Firstly is any reference material on the 17th - 18th century Germanic goose-wing ax or hatchet. That could be expanded to include period items made in the various Germanic communities of Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.

The second request is about where to purchase a period appropriate pattern, Germanic Broad/Goose-Wing single-bevel hatchet. This could be from a modern 20th century production as long as it is generally of the right pattern. I’m really more interested in getting a user tool, but a reasonable antique could be acceptable.

This is more of a request for knowledge and then where to buy versus just a WTB.

Saw a vintage broad axe yesterday in a shop... Didn't bother to pick it up. I'm on vacation this week so if you want me to go back and check it out I will if i can.
