I know this isn't quite wood working, but seeing as it's wood related, I'm hoping someone can help...

I need to find a good arborist... SOON!

We have several different varieties of fruit trees on our property... apples, sourwood cherries, persimmon, peach and pear. There's also several walnut trees on the property... and I suspect there's probably a pecan or two here as well.

I'm no arborist and need to get myself educated.

The trees have suffered from neglect for a couple of years. My former landscaper has been blowing smoke up my tailpipe and has failed to do any real maintenance on the trees since we moved here... other than removing a few dead branches here and there. grrrrrrrrrrr...... As an example, he was actually supposed to replant a couple dozen cherry trees this winter as well....

Does anyone know of a good, reputable arborist in the Alamance county area who doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I've got a couple of pine's that I think have pine beetles or pine blight and just lost a cherry tree... well... I just noticed it the other day, anyway.

ANY help is greatly appreciated!

Thanx!
Max

Chris, I tried to call, but your voicemail is full...

I got busy today and will try Bartlett tomorrow as well.

Thanks again!
