Does anyone have experience with this router before I pull the trigger? I have been wanting to get a big sucker to install on my TS extension, and this might just fill the bill.

I got one about a 2 years ago, mainly for freehanded dust collection . Price was good and it works very well. Put a round (Milescraft) base on it . A little top heavy feeling at first, but I also use my 5625 freehanded, so I knew what to expect. Personally, I prefer a fixed base in a RT but many others like or adapt plungers. The motor speed controller seems up to the job as well. You're welcome to come play with mine if you want before you buy.

I would only be using this in a router table.
I am debating if I should get this or hold out for a Triton 3 1/4....

I have a Freud 2200 in my table. It's the older model but works great!!
