So how far is Raleigh from Bristol TN? Google maps say 4 hours 47 minutes and 282 miles. Are those real figures? That's a nice BS and good price.

I have first shot at the tablesaw, bandsaw, jointer and the dust collection. The machines are all in good shape with just some surface rust but they are 8 years old. What do you think would be a fair price to offer for the 4 tools?

Well I just bit the bullet. Bought the 4 tools and he threw in a number of extra jigs, hoses, mobile bases for each tool and a Frued Dado blade. He kept everything in nice shape. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have the surface rust removed and looking good.

Now the tough part in trying to figure out how to organize all of this in the garage and convince my wife that we need to start the addition because we need another two car garage .

I'll also need to convince a neighbor to let me borrow a truck and he'll get the pleasure to help unload all of this . . . . .

Wow, thanks for the offer Doug. I'm in N. Raleigh near creedmore and norwood roads. Not sure if I'm going to try and get the stuff Sat or Sunday - trying to line up a truck now.

I have gone from Raleigh to Bristol and vice versa in 4 1/2 hours. It isn't a bad drive.

I allways seam to come up a day short when some good deals come across. The next big item on my shopping list is to replace the TS. Oh well didn't have the cash anyways.
