I am a fan of Shannon Rogers - and like the Christopher Schwarz and Paul Sellers bench builds - I think this is another that deserves applause!

Not sure if this one has been posted or not, but also classified as an easy build using plywood, and making mortise/tenon joints by laminating the pieces of plywood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9yuHeKnhWs. It was featured in Fine Woodworking Magazine, and made a couple of modifications.

Nice bench. I must confess I am a slave to the vice. I still lock down my board as I am planing the face. With some lumber and a 100 dollar limit, I don't think I could build something better. Good stuff for a person on a limited budget and some ambition.

The are English style wide apron front vise - type benches.

It an adequate bench but sooner or later.

Keep in mind if you want end vise + bench dogs, you can't push them up from the bottom.

Of course there are other contraptions that can serve the same purpose, but I like my dogs!
