While Metallica may or not be your taste in music, I found a cool story about James Hetfield, one of the lead players from the iconic band, having a luthier build a new guitar. Its built using reclaimed wood from their '80s practice garage where they got their start, the garage had long been torn down, but he was able to get enough pieces to have it built. The woodworker/artist incorporated so many cool details to make it a memorable instrument, in the video you can see Hetfield's excitement and pride in his new guitar. I love seeing someone excited by what woodworkers and artists can create.
