A simple 18x18x30 flower table I made for church to match the existing alter table and other furnishings. QSWO from Scott Smith with standard mortise and tenon joinery. Finish is multiple coats of Waterlox/ Danish Oil/ Waterlox/ Paste Wax (sequence kindly shared by Brian Geib). Deviated from the existing alter table design with the contrasting cross (bloodwood I think - picked the wood up from a scrap pile).

Thanks all. Delivered it and a matching 7" riser (at times they may want a taller table behind the other furnishings) to the church last night.

Chris - the cross is only on the front. Used rabbet joints in the top and bottom of the cross to fit over the stretchers and secured with screws. This way, it can be easily removed and refinished if the bloodwood fades over the years.
