First woodworking project for nephew

Last month, a long lost nephew joined my household for awhile (?) and wanted to try some woodworking. He did take high school shop back some 30 years ago but nothing since. His choice of projects was a bit ambitious
An acoustic guitar from wood in my scrap bin - the fret board is left over Ipe decking, the sides are recovered baseboard from a building downtown. I sprayed the first few coats and he sprayed the last eight coats of instrument lacquer. Just needs to add the strings and such.

Excellent.

little concerned what your bandsaw blade looks like after sawing through that last fret!

He installed that last fret after cutting the radius. I asked him what that fret was for - I do not remember getting an answer
