OK...so one of my many weaknesses as a woodworker...and in my opinion, probably the second most important skill to master, is finishing. There are books and tomes and lexicons and volumes written about this subject, some of which I have read and attempted to follow, with varying degrees of success/failure. However, just like everything else in woodworking, it is much more an art form, than a technical exercise.
With that said, is anyone aware of any finishing classes offered anywhere? Where they go over say the top 5 materials and methods, and do hands-on type demonstrations? I have checked w/ Woodcraft, but there is nothing on the board for the next 6 months.
