Jeff, I think he just doubled up on the material around the edge. That is what I would do, at least. Unless you get down and look underneith, you wouldn't notice it.

I did the full treatment on the wrap around- matched grain and everything...looked great...and then stain hid it all! Oh well..was fun.

Only if I can complete them within a reasonable definition of 'near future'....so likely no. ;-)


Anthony, My wife is wonderfully patient about completing tables, but she’s far less forgiving about standing up to eat!

There are many sound reasons for why we purchase almost all of our chairs.
