For those of you who use Facebook (if you don't, you should consider it!), I've created a public group called "North Carolina Woodworkers". Figure it wouldn't hurt to have a Facebook side of NCWW... afterall, Rockler has a group out there! :gar-La;

which can be a blessing in disguise haha or just opposite of that.. at least thats happened to me more than a few times on there, as well as myspace and even older friendster.

I know what you mean. There is always the awkward, "Hey! How have you been?" And you have no idea who they are. :help:

I guess it couldn't hurt since I'm too old for the Life Insurance agents in my high school class to target me for a new policy.:gar-La;

I'm no good at networking or being social, whether online or in person. Except online everybody can see it, and realize it quicker.

I have got in touch with old navy buddies, high school friends, people I haven't talked to in 20 years, but have thought about. It's a pretty neat place, and I also get to keep tabs on my college age daughter there.

BTW, prepare for some friend requests, daughter tells me I don't have enough.
