thanks everyone...
yea Rob, that's a Dubby under the towel on my zipcode ts. I got the basic plans for the "wall of wood storage" out of Shopnotes issue #17. Of course I did make a few changes to beef up the swivelling panel bin. It called for two 5" T-hinges... I used 3 6" one's instead, it suggested using 2" X 6" as the backbone for the bin... I went with 2" X 8" (was considering even a 2" X 10"), it suggested using one sheet of 1//2" plywood split corner to corner to make up the sides of the bin but I was a little concerned that if I had a few sheets of some of the heavier stuff in it it would bow the sides out or worse so I went with a 3/4" sheet instead... it called for two non-swivel castors to be installed on the bottom of the bin for it to roll open on... I went with those PLUS a single heavy duty steel swivel castor about midway to prevent a possible "blowout" if I had the bin really loaded sometime (my basement floors are not level anywhere).
All in all I am really happy with it... it makes handling full sheets easier for me when I haven't got any help available.
